Most of May, we will be going to rabbit shows on Saturdays and Sundays. I'll post the names of the shows soon in case your looking for me. =3
Well, I have some horrible news..... I just came home from a camping trip, hand my dad told me that Lu had died...... We don't know why she died, but someone checked on her and she was fine, but a few minuets later.............. she was gone. I got a video of her 2 days before she died, and if you want to see it, I will post it soon..........
I have great news! I took Twilight, Jack, Lilly, Snugle-bug, Lu, and Smudge to the PAsarba show and got best of show with Smudge! There where some very pretty rabbits that she went up againts. When four and six class had been judged, Smudge had won six class and a beautiful little black junior dutch had won the four class. When I saw that small but almost perfect rabbit, I thought that she would win. But in all, the judge chose Smudge, a big suprise for me!!!!! The sad thing was that we sold Jack Frost and Snugle-bug. Though Snugle-bug wasn't EVER on my good side, I kind of miss him. I really miss Jack though... he was so cute and friendly! All in all, we did pretty good at the show! Smore, ( Smudge's brother, now known as Goliath) did really good too! Smudge's lines must be very good to have her littermates doing so good!
The registration form for the PASRBA is below if you would like to have it!
This February, there is a big rabbit show in Pensilvania called the PASRBA. It is a huge 2 day rabbit show, with both open and youth shows.( Click http://www.pasrba.org/conv.htm for more info on the show) It is one of my favorite rabbit shows, and one of the biggest that I go to. If you are going to it, you can email me a letter, and maybe you can see me! I will show in the youth section and will be there for both days. I have mostly light gray flemish, but I am bringing Jack Frost and Twilight! Here is some other info about me there.
-We will have Twilight, Jack Frost, Lily (a steel gray doe), Smudge, and possibly Pepper, Lu and Snugle-bug. Make sure to look for them!! =3
-We will be in the youth section for both days
- We are one of the few people who show Flemish in the Youth. Don't look for us in the Open show, there are over 200 Flemish Giants there!!!
-I will be selling bunnies.... Jack Frost and Snugle-Bug...... all of our does are related to them and we don't have room for them.... I hope they get good homes.....
Other wise, I hope to see you there!!!!! =3
Well, It's Christmas Eve, and no babies from Pudden... All she has done is poop in her nesting box. I think she isn't going to have babies this Christmas... =P
I am so excited! Pudden is supposed to have babies on Christmas!!! Right now, I can't be sure that she is she will have babies, but if she does, then they will be around Christmas time! That would be cool to have a bunnies birthday around Christmas!!!! =D
We moved Jack Frost to a seperate cage. It was getting to crowded with 3 growing rabbits in one cage, and since they shared food, he was stronger and pushed Twilight away. She was starting to look thinner than a Flemish should. So now she is looking better and she has been able to eat more, only having to share with her mom, Lihlah.
We sold another baby. That leaves us with only one rabbit to sell. Jack Frost. I am suprised, because he is very friendly and loves to be handled... Anyway, we have also decided to sell Snugle-bug because all of the girl flemish we have are either his sister or mom! We are trying to find a good rabbit to replace him once we sell him.
Sadly, the people who hadn't picked up their bunnies yet did today. We said good-bye to yet another baby, but yet I am happy. Since there where 8 rabbits in one cage, they all compeated for food, water, and attention. But now, she's at a nice home with a friendly owner, and no one to have to compeate with for anything.
Yesterday, at the Baltimore and Howard Show, we sold 2 of Lihla's babies, Dodger,a black bunny, and Sean, a light gray one.(For more about Sean,
go to http://www.freewebs.com/tulamorerabbits/index.htm in photo gallery) I trust the people we sold them to take good care of them. I was a little worried about their first night away from home, but from I heard, the people love the bunnies and the bunnies are doing great! I also have sold 2 other babies, but the people who want them haven't come yet to take them.
